Joe is the screenwriter of three feature films, with another original script to be produced this fall. His script for THE ENCAMPMENT earned him a spot on the Tracking Board’s “Young & Hungry List” and was accepted into The Black List Mini-Lab. The short films he has directed have screened at film festivals across the country.

With 12 years of experience in both series & features, Kayla has covered productions all over the world, including ON MY BLOCK, THE LETTER FOR THE KING, THE WOMAN IN THE HOUSE, and the NAACP Image Award-winner BOOKMARKS. As a production executive at Netflix, she helped develop support programs for underrepresented below-the-line crew & vendors.

Prior to Hulu she worked on series including 13 REASONS WHY, UNREAL, and the 2019 TIFF selection THE OBITUARY OF TUNDE JOHNSON.

Since then he has shot three features—BUNNY, INHERITANCE, & THE BLACK SEA—as well as all twelve episodes of the HBO original series BETTY. In 2020 Variety placed Jackson on their "10 Cinematographers To Watch" list.
